The first ever cannabis shop in Glasgow, which has been opened in the city since November, has been the scene of a lot of controversy.
Wealthy Scots are expected to make up about 30% of the business, with a total turnover of over £1m.
Owner James Ransom is keen to promote the shop as the first of its kind in Scotland, saying it will allow his clients to “get the most bang for their buck”.
The first cannabis shop opened in Glasgow by James Rabiner and company in November 2016.
Now in its sixth month, the cannabis shop has been attracting some of the UK’s biggest names in cannabis including rapper Krewella and actress Jessica Ennis.
Mr Ransom said: “We’re excited to be opening our first shop in the heart of Glasgow.”
It’s the first one that has our logo on it, which is a nod to our roots.
“We’re trying to do it right and it’s going to be a success.”

The shop is the first in the Scottish capital to offer the products, which include edibles, oil, cannabis flowers and concentrates.
It has a range of services including a private medical cannabis clinic, which will treat up to 100 patients.
It’s been a long journey to get the shop open, which took more than four years.
It was originally scheduled to open in early 2021 but was delayed after Mr Rabiners legal team found that the law around cannabis would change.
The first store opened in 2016 in the historic St Patrick’s Cathedral and the next opened in May 2017.
A few months later, a shop in a Scottish golf course was opened, with the owners saying they wanted to offer something different and that it would give the business a boost.
Since then, the business has grown from a single shop to now offering a range and range of products, with its cannabis product range already growing.
Mr Krewellas’ name is among those on the cannabis plant, with many of the products sold at the shop including an oil for the treatment of anxiety and PTSD.
He is also the owner of the website CannaCafe, which he launched last year to promote his cannabis products.
“Cannabis is a very complex plant that’s very misunderstood, so it’s really great that cannabis has been given the attention it deserves,” he said.
“People need to understand the plant and it has a lot to offer, and hopefully we can make it more accessible to people.”
The shop has its own website, which contains more information about the cannabis products and services offered.
It also features the latest news on cannabis in Scotland.
Mr Milling said: ‘I’m really happy with the response we’ve received from our customers.
“I think they’ve really embraced the idea that it’s a product that can be used to help with anxiety, depression, PTSD and other issues.”
In the same way that the pill was used in the 1800s and the amphetamine is in the 1970s, we can see that people are looking for a way to get high, which gives us the perfect opportunity.
