AUSTRALIA’S biggest e-cigarettes retailer is set to offer its e-juice for all.
Blue e-Cigarettes announced plans for its ejuice to be available at some events in 2018 and 2019, including a visit from Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to the US.
“Blue e cigs will be the exclusive partner for Australian events including Prime Minister’s Australia Day events, and will offer its signature blend of e-liquid to customers during those events,” the company said in a statement on Monday.
“We have worked hard to get the product to our customers and are excited to be offering it to them.”
The Australian e-cig brand has been working to bring its unique flavours to the Australian market, but Mr Turnbull’s visit to the country has prompted Blue to introduce flavours such as Strawberry, Apple, Cinnamon and Blackcurrant.
“Australians will enjoy the benefits of Blue e cig’s premium e-liquids for all when they visit Australia, and we have made it our mission to deliver the best products and the most affordable prices to our loyal customers,” Mr Turnbull said in the statement.
“To do this we need to work closely with Blue to ensure that we can deliver the most flavourful products at the most competitive prices.”
The announcement comes after Mr Turnbull announced in September that he was setting up an Australian-led team to promote vaping in Australia.
The Prime Minister, who has spoken in favour of the use of ejuices, told The Australian Financial Review in September: “We’ve got to start looking at ways to make it easier to vape.
But we can’t do it without our people.””
We are going to see more innovation and people are going back to vaping.”
But we can’t do it without our people.
“It is about people enjoying their life, not having to go through that whole process of putting a device on their face and having to wear a mask and having a nicotine patch.”
They don’t like that and we want to make sure that we are going for that in Australia.
“The Prime Minster said that Blue would work with local tobacco control groups to develop a plan to ensure tobacco products are safe to use.”
The Australian government has given us the green light to introduce e-cigs into Australia, with the assistance of the Australian Health Practitioners Board, to give smokers a safer alternative to tobacco,” he said.
